2.5      If you buy for someone else. If you order a LAZYFELLA product for someone else, for example a partner, we will use their name and address to deliver it. Please only give us their details if you are happy they would expect you to. We won't send them marketing unless they sign up themselves.

4.4      LAZYFELLA and FFS. Because LAZYFELLA and FFS are both run by FFS Beauty Ltd, we hold customer data for both brands. We use it to run your orders and account for whichever brand you buy from. We will only send you marketing about the other brand if you have agreed to receive marketing from us, and you can unsubscribe at any time.

4.5      We may also share your data if the law requires it, for example with HMRC or the police, or if we sell or transfer all or part of our business.

5. Sending your data outside the UK

5.1      Some of our service providers store or process data outside the UK, for example in the European Economic Area or the United States.

5.2      When this happens, we make sure your data is protected in the way UK law requires. This means the country has been approved by the UK government as having adequate data protection, or we use approved safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

5.3      For more information about these safeguards, please contact us at info@lazyfella.co.uk.

6. Marketing

6.1      We only send you marketing emails or texts if you've said yes. You can sign up at checkout, where there are separate tick boxes for email and SMS, or through the sign-up forms on our website.

6.2      Every marketing email and text includes a simple way to unsubscribe, and it works straight away. You can also email info@lazyfella.co.uk and we'll take you off our lists.

6.3      Unsubscribing from marketing won't stop order updates, delivery updates or Regular Delivery reminders, because we need to send these to run your orders.

6.4      You can turn off advertising and analytics cookies at any time using the cookie settings link on our website.

7. How long we keep your data

7.1      We keep your personal data only for as long as we need it:

(a) order, account and transaction records: for as long as you are a customer and then for six years, because the law requires us to keep financial records for tax purposes;

(b) marketing preferences: until you unsubscribe, after which we keep a record that you've opted out so we don't contact you again;

(c) customer service conversations: for as long as needed to deal with your query and any follow-up; and

(d) cookie data: as set out in our Cookies Policy.

7.2      We may anonymise your data, so it can no longer be linked to you, and use it for research or statistics. Anonymised data isn't personal data, so we may keep it indefinitely.

8. Keeping your data safe

8.1      We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data, including encrypted connections on our website and checkout, access controls and regular testing for security weaknesses.

8.2      If you have an account, please keep your password private and don't share it with anyone.

8.3      No method of sending information over the internet is completely secure. We do our best to protect your data, but we can't guarantee the security of data sent to our website.

8.4      If there is a data breach that is likely to put your rights at risk, we will tell you and the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) where the law requires us to.

9. Your rights

9.1      You have the following rights over your personal data:

(a) Right to be informed: to know how we use your data. That's what this policy is for.

(b) Right of access: to ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you.

(c) Right to rectification: to ask us to correct data that's wrong or incomplete. You can also update some details yourself in My Account.

(d) Right to erasure: to ask us to delete your data. We may need to keep some records, for example for tax purposes (see section 7).

(e) Right to restrict processing: to ask us to pause using your data, for example while we check it's accurate.

(f) Right to object: to object to us using your data where we rely on legitimate interests. You can object to direct marketing at any time, and we will always stop.

(g) Right to data portability: to ask for a copy of the data you gave us in a format you can take elsewhere.

(h) Right to withdraw consent: where we rely on your consent, for example for marketing or cookies, you can withdraw it at any time. This won't affect anything we did before you withdrew it.

9.2      To use any of these rights, email info@lazyfella.co.uk or call 01543 648044. You don't usually have to pay. We may ask you to confirm your identity before we act. We will respond within one month, or tell you within that time if we need longer because your request is complex.

10. Complaints

10.1    If you're unhappy with how we've handled your personal data, please tell us first at info@lazyfella.co.uk. We will acknowledge your complaint within 30 days and let you know the outcome without undue delay.

10.2    You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK data protection regulator. Visit ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or call 0303 123 1113.

11. Changes to this policy

11.1    We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page. If we make significant changes, we will tell you by email where appropriate.

11.2    This policy was last updated in October 2026.
